It is unmissable that fashion has a place for self-expression and voicing political statements; both from the creative standpoint of fashion photography as well as from fashion designers.
A bit rebellious, a bit controversial, we will explore the recent politically charged climate in our society In this thought-provoking issue.

Try and think outside the box for your editorial story. The message behind your shoot is key. Convey it by means of creativity. We have a few keywords to help you come up with a story:

dystopia, corruption, rebel, freedom, society, brave new world, divergent, fist, community, society, war, peace, protest, solidarity, unity, inclusiveness, human rights, activism, liberty, masks, tear, control, justice.

About afi magazine

Afi is a non-profit fashion and beauty magazine based in the UK. Founded in 2016, Afi is published bi-monthly in-print and digital. Afi magazine seeks to showcase in-season fashion/beauty trends with a creative edge through editorial storytelling and from the runways at fashion weeks.

We showcase photographic work from creatives worldwide on our platforms through submissions. In addition, we are interested in sharing the life journies of creative people in the fashion and beauty industry through interview features. We also collaborate with publicity/creative agencies for brand/artist features.

Afi magazine is free to read online to give people open access to inspiring materials. Our non-profit platform is run by a small but dedicated team of creatives.
