--APERTURE COLLECTIVE RIGHTS TO PUBLICATION--
By submitting to Aperture Collective, you are agreeing to give us the rights to your photos for the usage of publication. If accepted, we have the rights to use the submitted photos in print, online, merchandise usage and Instagram features.

If we have accepted your work for a magazine, we have exclusive rights to feature your photos in the magazine you have submitted to. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SUBMIT/ BE IN OTHER MAGAZINES AT THIS POINT for this series of photos. We do not accept cancelations after the photos are submitted and have rights to publish them. If you must cancel there is a **$25 CANCELATION FEE. Please let us know your email so we can invoice you.



--WHO WE ARE/ WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN SUBMISSIONS--
We are a high-fashion inspired magazine based in the USA. We are asking for AT LEAST 4 LOOKS for your submission and 8-26 quality photos in total. The more looks the better.

We ask upon submission to include the team members names and their roll, affiliated parties/ agencies (e.g. photographer, model, makeup artist, hair etc.) as well as credits for the clothing items featured.

**Please make sure that everyone on the team agrees to have their work published prior to submission. Once we accept, we have rights to the photos and will follow through with publication, unless a cancelation fee is provided.

While some landscape photos may be selected for print, portrait orientation is preferred.

We look for a cohesive editorial story that includes DIVERSE looks, locations, and/or backdrops. We are more likely to accept for print when we can publish a diverse spread.

If an editorial is an accepted, we will feature 6-8 photos of your work (even if the entire editorial was accepted). Any paid editorials will automatically get a 6 page feature (as long as the photos work). The length of the editorials depend on (1) what looks best for your editorial and (2) what works best for our magazine.

Please have your photos edited/retouched and have them 'ready to publish quality.' We receive a lot of submissions and so if they need additional work, they will be rejected.

*Kavyar INFORMS us the status of the exclusivity of your photos. We can see if they've been accepted to another magazine. If we see this, we immediately reject.



--GUARANTEED SUBMISSIONS--
Guaranteed Publications are 100% refundable upon rejection by Kavyar. We have the rights to reject a guaranteed submission if they don't follow our themes and guidelines/ don't work for a particular issue.



--TEAR SHEETS--
The way we operate is that tear sheets are processed AFTER the launch of the magazine to encourage magcloud traffic. Please give us 1-2 weeks to get you your tear sheets. Tear sheets will be provided to the member of the team that submitted via kavyar. If all members of your team would like them directly sent to their email, please comment the teams email addresses in the submission.



--REFUNDS/MAGAZINE PURCHASES VIA MAGCLOUD--
Refunds are available if we reject GUARANTEED publications ONLY (guaranteed cover, guaranteed publication etc). There are NO REFUNDS for priority upgrade submissions or cover submissions.

**WE DO NOT GIVE OUT FREE PRINTS IF YOU ARE PUBLISHED. Prints and the downloadable magazine will be available for purchase on magcloud.com. You will receive free tear sheets within 2 weeks of magazine release.
