Bio

Kathey is a West Midlands based Photographer & Designer known for her artistic style, direction and love for creating. Originally trained as a BBC camera woman, her love for all things wierd, wonderful and creative led her down a path of theatre, circus, music, fashion & film from 1995 to present day. These days she fuses her multi-talents together to include fashion design, set design, painting, wardrobe styling, film and graphics. Over the last two decades her work has appeared in numerous publications including Asian Bride, Vogue Italia, Gothic Bride, Burlesque Bible, NME, Milkcow, Magical Times & Prediction amongst others. Her work has featured on book covers, film stills (including Oxfams Glengary Glenross), festival posters (including Sussex Faerie Festival Brighton & London Burlesque Festival), tour posters & promotions (inc. Happy Chichester, Si Hayden, Adam Ant & numerous UK Sony represented artists) as well as in her previous alternative Brighton based webzine & studio The Elegant Savages. Her photography has recently been exhibited in the UK & internationally including: Brick Lane Gallery, London, 2019 Salon de la photo, Paris, 2019 - 2020 Truman Brewery, London, 2011, 2014 & 2019 Kanyon Büyükdere Caddis Levent, Istanbul 2020 Pop Up Gallery, Brighton 2011, 2013 Kathey occasionally models for alternative publications, photography students and artists studies. Currently looking to create with experienced male and female models for Anglo-Saxon/Viking styled shoot for magazine advertising and UK location shoots. Paying daily model rates + travel, food & private accommodation (where required.)
