Mixalis Khoury attributes his inspiration, creativity and drive for Fashion, Art direction and Photography to growing up in Beirut, Lebanon. Beirut is known for its Glam, Charm, Art and Fashion. Mixalis describes the capital as magical, one of the world's most beautiful and inspiring cities. The history and architecture of the country is truly iconic.
With an eye for Fashion, it’s Mixalis passion to make every photoshoot the best possible. Mixalis, currently living in Dubai, gets ultimate satisfaction, by adding his touch to every detail in an image. He also enjoys styling and working with leading brands to create new and innovative looks.
Photography has always been integral to Mixalis’ life. As a child you could already catch him carrying around his camera everywhere he would go to capture moments with his family and friends.
Having assembled an impressive photo collection from his past, he occasionally hosts a gathering with the people closest to him to share and reminisce the special nostalgic moments they experienced together.
Mixalis moved to Dubai in 2008, where he started working in the fashion industry. Here he slowly revealed his hidden talents.
Mixalis is Inspired by Edward Steichen, Horst P Horst, Azzedine Alaia and Alexander Mcqueen.
In 2016, Mixalis started pursuing his passion for photography and art direction full time. Since then, Mixalis has established himself as one of the leading photographers in the region, renowned for his special unique lighting technique and Artistic identity.
His clients include Designers, Athletes, Singers, well known Fashion Bloggers and Celebrities such as: Jon Kortajarena, Jasmine Sanders, Alica Vikender, Nadine Njeim, Murad Yildrim, Hend Sabri, Isabella Ferrari.
He has also collaborated with leading brands, including: Valentino, Gucci, Prada, MiuMiu, Dior, Elisabetta Franci. And worked with numerous magazines: Vogue, Harper Bazaar Arabia, Emirates Women, Laha.
Personal Projects include: creating personal photography projects for future exhibitions; crafting the entire setup as well as model looks, hair, and makeup.
