✨ PRINT & DIGITAL | A BRIDGERTON STORY | MAIN ISSUE

**Editorial Calendar** - Our 2023 issues have been updated and our NEW editorial Calendars are now out for 2024 - which can all be found on our submissions page- https://spellboundmagazine.com/submissions

**Main Issues**-  These issues are printed in the UK, and sold on our Shopify store where we dispatch worldwide. Print issues will be available soon in local stores, like Waterstones, Barnes & Noble, London News Agents & Kiosks, Readily, and many more! All stores will be listed on our website, for digital issues they are currently available via ISSUU only and soon will be available on other online digital stores.

**Monthly Issues** - Monthly Issues are both print and digital issues. These issues are printed in the USA, and sold only on our Magcloud store.

**Shipping + Digital Operations** - At this time, we have suspended all shipping and digital operations from the UK to countries affected by sanctions for the foreseeable future, we continue to monitor the sanction guidelines from the UK government and change the guidelines as it evolves. We will still accept free submissions from these affected areas. However, we cannot accept upgraded submissions or ship to your location, unless you have a relative outside of these sanctions zones - please note you will still be able to access your tearsheets. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Hopefully, once sanctions are lifted you will be able to return and purchase your copy.

# GUIDELINES

We have numerous guidelines for submitting to different categories of our publications. If you are interested in posing a pitch as a writer to our team please get in contact with our Features Editor (featureseditor@spellboundmagazine.com) who will get in touch with you about our house style and guidelines to submit. Please refrain from delving straight into a pitch as it will inevitably not fit our pitching guidelines.

# INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

Our Swanky Media Group publications have an ongoing commitment to feature and actively pursue diversity across our platforms in print, digital, as well as our website. The term “diverse” includes representatives of different races, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, and abilities. We are actively encouraging submission from anyone under this term.

# THE SUBMISSIONS PROCESS

Once a submission is accepted by one of our publications in the Swanky Media Group, you will receive a link from our Editorial Team to our release form which will have to be signed by the Photographer. If the release form is not completed before the deadline, we reserve the right to pull that submission from our issue without your consent.

Photo editorial submissions will need to come with a pre-edited and curated selection of imagery. Your editorial must be cohesive, all from the same shoot to tell a story. We ask you to make sure your subject is not centered to avoid part of the image being hidden when binding the magazine.

Please submit images with NO LOGOS or WATERMARKS! (Any submissions with Logos or watermarks will be automatically rejected).

Please ensure you also include and title and share all associated credits you would like published in the editorial. We will not be responsible for typos, errors, and missing credits. We will contact you to confirm your credits are all correct, you will need to do this before the deadline that we set in place.

All submissions should be between 4-12 images. If your submission is a general submission (not intended for a cover or interview) and is over 10 images, we won’t publish all the images, a maximum of 6 and a minimum of 4 will be chosen. We reserve the right to select fewer and greater images than required.

For writing pitching and submissions please see our house style and guidance from our Features Editor. If you have images to go alongside your feature with us, then please follow the instructions above.

For short film and video submissions please see our house style and guidance from our Features Editor.

- The quality of work is not high enough or not to standard.
- The wardrobe is repeated throughout the editorial.
- Photos containing nudity will not be considered.

For our main issues, we only accept entire exclusivity. As a publication, we require 120 days of exclusivity after the submission close date has passed.

We ask that you ensure your submission has not been shared with any publication, blog, or broadcast media one month before and four months after the feature with us - unless specified directly with us. Please note this does not include social media. You can post to social media as soon as you receive your tearsheets.

For our monthly issues, we do not have a set exclusivity required. You may share your work with other formats of media and publications before and after the feature with us. You can post to social media as soon as you receive your tearsheets.

However, if your images have been submitted to another magazine, please don’t send us the same images at the same time as you will be rejected automatically by our system.

# APPROVAL PROCESS

You may receive feedback within 15 working days, regardless if your submission was accepted or declined. If your submission is accepted, you will then be forwarded additional instructions via e-mail on how to get the full submission over to us and any additional information we need to provide you. We’ll then allocate you a publication date, always within one week of acceptance.
