THE OPEN ZINE IS A BLACK-AND-WHITE PUBLICATION. WE ACCEPT COLOUR IMAGES, HOWEVER, THEY WILL BE CONVERTED TO GREYSCALE.
We welcome submissions from photographers, models, make-up artists, hairstylists, designers, and writers.
Images can be fashion, street, documentary photography or creative pieces. OPEN ZINE reserve the right to accept or deny any submission. Your editorial must be cohesive.
THE OPEN ZINE IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE TEAR SHEETS TO ITS FEATURED CREATIVES.
PURCHASE
Once an issue is being released it is available for purchase via Blurb through our website. The purchase link will be sent on the day of release.
REASONS FOR REJECTION
* Poor low lighting/low-quality images
* Highly edited images – waxing face (using automated software)
* Your work is either unsuitable or does not fit with the creative direction of the issue.
* The quality of work is not high enough.
* Poses, expressions and camera angles are repeated.
* Images contain watermarks.
