Guidelines
Vertiqlè Magazine does not accept submissions through Kavyar.
We are now accepting BLACK & WHITE fashion, portrait, street, homme, conceptual, fine art and art nude* submissions that meet any of our four criteria for the January 2020 issue.

We're looking for incredible B&W content from creative teams around the world that speaks to people in one of four ways – its artistic beauty, its technical brilliance, its embedded social message, or even simply because it pushes a boundary.

We love the world of black and white, and are inspired by the likes of the great B&W fashion and portrait photographers of the 60's through early 2000's - think Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, David Bailey, Herb Ritts.

Creating great B&W images is a little more complex than applying a grey scale filter across a colour image. We can accept colour images, and we will work with the photographer/artist to create a B&W version that maintains their artistic vision. Please select the "Colour Conversion" submission option to submit non-B&W images.

The Dot Points:

Be sure to include a title for your editorial. We reserve the right to modify your title or apply a different title to fit with the flow of the issue.

We're happy to accept related written content to a max. 500 words, though we reserve the right to exclude or modify your written content.

We need credits for the whole team, including models (& their agencies), stylists, HMUA's, photographers, etc. Credits should generally be in the name of the individual talent, not business names or social media handles (we will tag your social media posts with the Instagram credits provided to Kavyar)

Images should not have been published through any other form of print or online media. We'll consider previously published images - just let us know that it has been published elsewhere, when it was published, who it was published with and that any exclusivity has expired.

Once an image is accepted to be published, it grants us a irrevocable perpetual license / permission to use the work in any of our publications, websites, videos, marketing pieces, advertisements, and any other mediums or formats used in the creation, dissemination, and monetization of Vertiqlè Magazine.

By submitting images to Vertiqlè, you expressly warrant that you have the right to publish the images with us, and agree to indemnify Vertiqlè Group Pty Limited against any action for breach of copyright or similar infringement.

*any nudity MUST NOT be gratuitous. See specifications re: nudity at www.vertiqlemagazine.com/submissions

REJECTIONS
Submissions may be rejected for a variety of reasons, including:

- The submission doesn’t fit the theme for the issue.

If your submission is rejected, we will advise you so that you can submit elsewhere, but we may not state the reason for the rejection.
